One of my favorite families to photograph is expecting an addition soon. I have photographed their first born since she was a newborn and it seems like it was just yesterday. Now she is going to be a big sister! I think by the time most moms reach the point of their maternity session, they are about ready to be done being pregnant, but there is nothing more amazing than a beautiful mother-to-be (ok, newborns are pretty amazing too!). 40 weeks always seems like such a long time, but once the baby is here, it is all forgotten. We humans are amazing creatures, aren’t we? This is just one of the reasons I believe photographs are so important. It is so easy to forget what we (or our children) looked like at certain times in our lives. Photographs can be one of the best gifts for our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
