Last night started a big next three weeks for me and it was a great start. I had the priviledge of photographing Fossil Ridge’s first musical. I was really looking forward to it. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast came out in 1991 and I was 11 years old (I am really dating myself here!). It became my favorite Disney movie of all time very quickly. Who doesn’t dream of being a Disney character? That movie got me through a lot of late night babysitting. 
I swear I still have the entire movie memorized (all the rest of the movies I have memorized were forced upon me by my own children, anyone who has had to spend hours awake at night with a sick kid watching “The Jungle Book” or “Finding Nemo” can sympathize).
FRHS does a tremendous job, beautiful costumes, singing, instruments and sets. So go see it!!! Take the kids, they will love it too!
Fossil Ridge High School’s “Beauty and the Beast” is this weekend (April 24,25 & 26 at 7pm).
