Just some notes

School is (almost!) out and June is just a couple days away! Right now, I am scheduling sessions for the end of JULY. Since my session times are limited, sessions have been booking very fast this season! Please schedule your session as much in advance as possible!

I will be out of town this weekend, I will get back to everyone who contacts me as soon as possible afterwards.

On another note- I am going to be sending out a model search for children ages 4-7 in the next couple of months. This is for a project I am working on and I am looking for a very diverse group of kiddos. Right now I am specifically looking for a kiddo in this age group who uses a wheelchair. If you know of anyone who would be interested, please point them to the blog or have them contact me for more info. More details to come soon on the project and the model search soon.

As always, I am here to answer any questions or schedule a session for you! You can contact me at etyler@etylerphotography.com or 970.214.5947. Thank you!

David & Heather

Last weekend my brother got married. It was the event of the year… since his fiancee lived here they had the celebrations here in Fort Collins, which was so much fun! Our house was pretty much in activity 24/7 for about 5 days, it was GREAT! It was so great to meet Heather’s family and friends and it was wonderful to have our family out here to hang out with too.

It was a beautiful, intimate wedding. I have not immersed myself in proofing it yet… I think I am still recovering from all the cleaning. ;) But here are a few Sneak Peeks! Pretty much the whole family was a part of the wedding party so it was fun seeing everyone all prettied up!

My daughter- one of the Flower Girls, playing the part of Princess:

The beautiful bride helping the junior bridesmaid (her niece):

My brother and my two boys (one was the Ring Bearer and the other was a Junior Groomsman):

The Ring bearer did a wonderful job!

Aren’t their dresses so cute?

Love this one!

Just a quick note

My baby brother is getting married this weekend! I will be super busy with all the wedding preparations and activities starting tomorrow. I should be back to the regularly scheduled program on Monday. If you contact me during this time, please know I will get back to you ASAP, but probably not until Monday.

Thank you! It looks to be a BEAUTIFUL weekend- enjoy!

10 Things about….

(me and my family)

1. I have at least one cup of hot tea a day (with just a bit of honey)… I love Adagio Teas.

2. The entire family is shamelessly addicted to playing Rock Band.

3. My 3 yr old daughter can roll her eyes and cross them like I’ve never seen before.

4. I do NOT like shopping for clothes but have recently discovered MyShape and that makes shopping a litte more tolerable.

5. My cell phones ring tones are set to Paolo Nutini’s “New Shoes” (my work phone) and Yael Naim’s “New Soul” (my personal phone).

6. I used to write poetry and short stories and wanted to become either an English teacher or a Music teacher.

7. (Almost) Every year we have a garden we plant of veggies. There is nothing better than going out and grabbing something so fresh it just came out of the ground 2 minutes ago. We also have raspberries!

8. My 6 yr. old son is the builder of the family and spends hours and hours with legos.

9. My 10 yr. old son made his own CD of him playing recorder.

10. My husband still amazes me with how much he puts up from me. He gets me through those rough days (or weeks) and he takes care of me on the really rough days.

2 Years!

We were able to get out and enjoy the warm day this morning. This little one is turning 2 very soon! We had so much fun (although I bet she took a good nap this afternoon!).

Sweet Newborn!

The newborn age is such a fleeting one… and one of my favorite ages to capture. Newborn sessions can be challenging, they take a little longer than regular sessions (we always take breaks for baby’s comfort and hunger!), parents are usually sleep deprived and worried about a strange lady coming to their house while it is not in its best shape, and there has already been a string of visitors lined up to see the new baby, the images we get are always soooo worth it.

It is always such a priviledge to get a glimpse at how sweet and precious life can be. How sweet and precious is this little one?!

Still Looking for Senior Reps of ‘09

Juniors, you will be Seniors in less than a MONTH! I am looking for some Senior Reps to help get the word out about E. Tyler Photography (you also get some cool incentives, along with a free Senior Session, something that is bound to please your parents).

Since I am really looking to expand my portfolio on the Senior Side (I have neglected that portfolio on my website horribly!), I am looking for a few more than I normally have. If you are interested (or think your mom or dad would appreciate it!)… please fill out my form here http://www.etylerphotography.com/seniorrep/seniorrep.html

If you (or your parents) have any questions, please email me at etyler@etylerphotography.com or call 970.214.5947.

Please try to have this filled out before June 1st, I would like to get my Senior Rep program up and running before the big Senior rush in Aug/Sept.

THANK YOU!
